The popular ultralight backpacking tent is now available in a longer version—20 cm longer and 8 cm taller—perfect for taller hikers.

The Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 Long offers an excellent combination of lightweight design, durability, and living space. Its volume-maximizing pole architecture enhances both durability and interior space without adding extra weight. Two doors and vestibules provide ample shelter from sun and light rain, and the doors can be converted into sun or rain awnings with the use of trekking poles.

Constructed from lightweight yet durable materials like double ripstop nylon, the tent delivers outstanding tear strength and puncture resistance without extra weight. The DAC poles’ four-way structure boosts stability and increases livable space.

The convenient dual-zipper doors make entry easy, and rolling back the doors is a snap—just one of the many practical details. The interior is thoughtfully designed, offering ample storage: oversized ceiling pockets, a 3D storage compartment at the foot, and dedicated phone pockets near the sleeping area.

Ventilation is excellent in this weatherproof tent. Low vents in the vestibule doors and high vents at the top help reduce condensation in all weather conditions. The tent’s unique corner design and TipLok™ corner buckles simplify setup by combining three functions: pole attachment, fly anchoring, and guyline points.

Pre-attached guylines and tensioners are included, along with several accessory hooks for attaching drying lines or a camping lantern.

The tent body features breathable double ripstop nylon and polyester mesh. Environmentally friendly, PVC- and VOC-free polyurethane-taped seams ensure waterproofing. Includes 8 six-inch ground stakes and 2 additional guylines.
