The Silent Fell Wilderness

The Muotkatunturi Wilderness is best suited for experienced, self-reliant hikers. There are no marked trails here—navigation relies entirely on your own skills as you move through open fells, river valleys, and palsa mires.

For river paddlers, the area offers the upper reaches of the Teno River system, including the Inarijoki, the meandering Kaamasjoki (initially known as the Kielasjoki), and the Vaskojoki. The map also extends to the fjord-like western bays of Lake Inari.

Calazo maps are produced using advanced laser scanning data, which makes elevation and terrain details exceptionally accurate. Printed on durable Tyvek material, the maps are fully waterproof and tear-resistant, requiring no protection from rain or rough handling.
