The Cumulus Mosquito Bivi is a new ultralight bivy sack designed to shield you from mosquitoes and water splashes while sleeping under a tarp. Ideal for use with minimalist tarps, it provides excellent protection against spray at the tarp’s edges during harsh weather.
The top is made from breathable yet water-repellent 15D Pertex Quantum, ensuring no condensation builds up inside the bivy. The bottom is silicone-coated for full waterproofing, while the generous mosquito net over the face area offers comfort and insect protection. For added convenience, the head section can be lifted off your face by attaching it to your tarp’s ceiling.
Weighing under 200 grams, the Mosquito Bivi is lighter than nearly all inner tents and offers better protection than a combination of a groundsheet and mosquito net.

Cumulus Mosquito Bivi is a minimalist bivy sack designed to provide excellent mosquito protection, especially when sleeping under a tarp. Its innovative materials and thoughtful construction make it a versatile and lightweight addition to your camping gear.
The base is made from waterproof, silicone-coated ripstop fabric, offering reliable ground protection. The top features breathable Pertex® Quantum fabric with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish to shield against moisture. Seams are positioned high off the ground to reduce contact with snow or wet surfaces, enhancing usability and protection.
A key feature is the ultra-light mosquito net covering the face area, ensuring excellent ventilation while keeping insects at bay. The 3 mm YKK® zipper with dual sliders allows for easy entry and exit, making this bivy user-friendly.
