The fully waterproof and windproof Pertex® Shield Revolve fabric reaches a 20,000 mm hydrostatic head and 20,000 g/m²/24 h breathability, so the jacket keeps protecting you through long rainy days, and a steep climb never turns into a sauna session.
Weighing just 280 grams, the Silvica disappears into the side pocket of your backpack until the moment you need it. The regular fit leaves room for a fleece or a light down jacket underneath, so the same shell works as your outer layer on summer treks as well as in the colder conditions of autumn and spring.
The helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened brim and dual adjustment, together with a high chin guard, keeps rain off your face even in sideways wind. A waterproof YKK® AquaGuard zip, Velcro® cuffs and an adjustable hem seal the jacket tight, while two side pockets keep your gloves, snack bar and phone within easy reach.
The Silvica is also a responsible choice: the fabric is made entirely from recycled polyester, the DWR treatment is PFC-free and the mono-material jacket is fully recyclable at the end of its life. It is made in Poland, and Cumulus backs it with its Lifetime Experience warranty.

The fully recyclable mono-material is made entirely from recycled polyester, so it can be efficiently recycled at the end of its life. The regular fit of the Silvica makes it easy to layer over your favourite base layer and mid-layer without feeling too loose or restrictive. The fully adjustable hood with a stiffened peak gives excellent coverage, and the high chin guard adds extra protection against rain and wind. The lightweight jacket is easy to stash in your pack, making it an essential piece of kit on every trip.
