Enlightened Equipment Revelation APEX 20F

Because it is a quilt rather than a traditional sleeping bag, Revelation APEX is intended for use with a sleeping pad that provides insulation from the ground. There is no full-length zipper or built-in hood, which keeps bulk to a minimum and ensures efficient packing for long routes.

Rated to approximately minus five degrees Celsius, this quilt can also serve as a protective overquilt in winter conditions. When layered over a down sleeping bag, it helps manage moisture by keeping the dew point within the synthetic layer, preserving the loft of the down beneath.

Climashield APEX insulation delivers reliable performance in damp conditions, dries quickly, compresses easily and requires little maintenance. The outer and inner fabrics are ultralight 10D nylon with a water-resistant finish, offered in a forest green exterior and charcoal interior.

The footbox combines a quarter-length zipper with an adjustable drawcord, allowing you to seal in warmth or open the quilt completely flat. Construction without through-stitching eliminates cold spots, while the included pad-attachment system uses flexible straps and side clips to keep drafts at bay. A snap closure and drawcord at the collar give you added control over temperature.

Each quilt comes with a silnylon stuff sack, a cotton storage bag and two attachment straps.
