These lightweight and durable food bags are made from ultralight, exceptionally strong fabrics with a tough abrasion-resistant face, built to withstand years of use. Available in three material options: D50T, Dyneema, and ECOPAK (large size only).

D50T

The Challenge D50T fabric is partly recycled and even lighter than 2.92 Dyneema or EPLX200 Ecopak. Each bag comes with printed designs that add a touch of personality and fun to your hikes. Tailored for ultralight backpackers who care about both function and detail.

  • 11×17″ SMALL (28×43 cm) – 36 g, 7–8 L capacity (1–3 days of food)

  • 16×19″ LARGE (40×48 cm) – 45 g, 12–13 L capacity (3–7 days of food)

• Made from ultralight, high-strength Challenge D50T fabric

• Printed artwork on both sides that never fades

• Strong hanging loop to suspend the bag out of reach of rodents

• Taped seams for improved weather resistance (nearly waterproof)

Dyneema

If saving weight is your top priority, this Dyneema® food bag is the lightest option available. Made from 1.43 oz Dyneema® Composite Fabric, it delivers minimal weight while keeping your food dry and secure. The trade-off is a higher price and a shorter lifespan compared to D50T or Ecopak, but you will not find a lighter food bag.

The Ecopak food bag is the ideal choice for longer trips or when you need to store more than just food overnight. With 6–7 liters more volume than our Large size, it provides ample storage for up to a week’s worth of supplies without adding unnecessary weight.
