The Igneous NOBO Bottle is our new favorite for backpacking adventures. Made from exceptionally stable HDPE, it can safely be used as a hot water bottle—something you can’t do with a regular disposable drink bottle. Its ultra-stable HDPE resists microplastic shedding, making it safer and more durable choice for both trail and everyday use. The bottle holds 1 liter of water.

Designed from the ground up for compatibility with 28 mm threaded water filters such as Sawyer and Platypus Quickdraw, the NOBO Bottle offers the ideal balance between flexibility and structure. It’s soft enough to squeeze water through a filter, yet firm enough to handle comfortably in your hand.

The cap is securely attached to the bottle, so you won’t lose it in a stream or underbrush. Its shape fits neatly into standard backpack side pockets, and the frosted finish allows it to double as a lantern diffuser when paired with a small light or headlamp—perfect for creating a gentle glow in your tent.

Weighing only 64 grams, the NOBO Bottle is fully compatible with Sawyer Squeeze, Platypus Quickdraw, and other filters and bidet caps with a 28-410 thread. Its one-hand flip cap with a replaceable TPU strap adds convenience, while the smooth beveled drinking edge and wear-resistant measurement markings (oz/ml) enhance usability in the field.

In backcountry conditions, the NOBO can be sanitized with boiling water, and it naturally regains its shape after being flattened. It also doubles as a hot water bottle for your sleeping bag, keeping you warm through cold nights. The frosted surface diffuses light evenly, transforming your headlamp or camp lantern into a soft ambient light source. Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
