Igneous Pot Hopper

An alternative to pot handles! Weighing just 4.5 grams, the Igneous Pot Hopper pot gripper is almost weightless and makes handling a hot cook pot surprisingly easy. There’s nothing inherently wrong with traditional pot handles, but the lightest pots often don’t have them. In addition, pot handles tend to heat up when left above a stove flame, whereas the Pot Hopper stays cool in your pocket and only comes into contact with the pot when needed.

Using the Pot Hopper is simple: squeeze to grip the pot and release to let go. It works best with titanium pots of around 750 ml capacity.

The Pot Hopper is made from 3D-printed aluminium with a highly visible orange ceramic coating. The spring and hinge function is provided by a fibre made from a special nitinol alloy. To learn more about the Pot Hopper’s design and material choices, visit the Igneous website.
