Nitecore AP01 Air Pump

Compared to a foam sleeping pad, an inflatable pad is typically warmer, more comfortable, and often even lighter. The trade-off is that it needs to be inflated every time camp is set up. There are many ways to do this, but few are as convenient as letting a pump handle the work while you focus on other camp chores or simply just sit back and relax.

The Nitecore AP01 is a miniature electric air pump that draws power directly from a power bank via a USB-C connection. With a 10,000 mAh power bank, a typical one-person sleeping pad can be inflated approximately 120 times, with each inflation taking around 75 seconds. Weighing just 22 grams, the AP01 is an excellent addition for weight conscious hikers looking to make camp life easier and more comfortable.

Operation is simple thanks to the one-button interface, allowing the pump to be used with a single hand. The durable polycarbonate housing also provides resistance to drops from heights of up to 2 metres.

The AP01 includes a USB-C cable, a storage pouch, and five different nozzles designed to fit the most common sleeping pad valves on the market. Power bank not included.

• The white silicone nozzles fit Ther-a-Rest, Nemo, Exped and Klymit pad valves
• Therm-a-Rest Winglock valve should be set on “deflate” when inflating or deflating the pad with AP01. This lets air flow more freely and consumes less power.
