Pa’lante V2 w/ Joey Straps

The Pa’lante V2 is a thoroughly refined evolution of an ultralight hiking pack that has become iconic in its category. Every detail has been carefully considered with the needs of long-distance hikers in mind. Now Pa’lante has equipped it with the shoulder straps familiar from the Joey fastpacking pack, further increasing both on-the-go storage and carrying comfort. Without removing the pack, the hiker has access to Pa’lante’s signature bottom pocket, both side pockets, and the spacious, versatile mesh pockets on the shoulder straps.

In addition to the running-vest-style shoulder straps, the pack features a removable hip belt that can be stashed away when not needed. The shoulder straps include two adjustable sternum straps, with the upper strap offering height adjustment. The front pocket has an integrated, separate compartment for tent stakes. There is also an ice axe loop for mountain adventures. For hydration bladder users, the pack includes a dedicated port for routing the drinking tube outside the pack.

Sizing

• Pa’lante defines pack size by the back panel length, measured from the highest point of the shoulder straps to the bottom of the back panel when pulled taut

• Generally, 16–17″ (41–43 cm) corresponds to size S, and 19″ (48 cm) corresponds to size M/L

• The 16″ size typically fits hikers under 173 cm in height, while the 19″ size is usually suitable for taller users

• The 19″ L is otherwise identical to the 19″ size, but features shoulder straps that are 5 cm longer
