Alpenglow Gear was born in California when Tom, a former Tesla engineer, set out to develop lightweight and durable gear inspired by his own hiking needs. It all started on the Pacific Crest Trail, where he tested a 3D-printed prototype for inflating a sleeping pad. That prototype evolved into the Alpenblow—an ultralight, efficient sleeping pad inflator built to withstand even the longest journeys.
