Fizan Compact trekking poles have an excellent price-to-performance ratio. They are very light and still sturdy. We are happy users of these poles ourselves. Fizan Flexy adjustment system holds really well. It is constructed of an aluminium plug and Delrin (DuPont material) expander. This ensures safe and trustworthy locking mechanism, that is comparable even to a leverlock system, but lighter. These poles have been used for example on Mount Everest and K2.
Fizan is an Italian company that has been manufacturing trekking poles since 1947. The poles are made in Italy, not China.
