The Bonfus Framus 58L is a lightweight framed backpack built for long-distance adventures where larger food carries and reliable load transfer matter. Its removable frame system efficiently shifts weight to the hips, making heavy carries feel surprisingly manageable while maintaining the simplicity and agility expected from a modern ultralight pack.

Versatility is at the core of the Framus design. Both the aluminum frame stays and removable foam back panel can be taken out easily, transforming the Framus into a frameless ultralight backpack for fast-paced missions and minimalist trips.

Constructed from some of the most advanced backpack materials available today, the Framus combines exceptional strength, low weight, and outstanding weather resistance. The main body uses Ultra 200X fabric, chosen specifically for its unmatched balance of durability and weight savings. Woven with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers, Ultra 200X offers dramatically higher tear strength and abrasion resistance compared to many traditional ultralight fabrics. A laminated waterproof backing and integrated X-grid reinforcement further improve long-term reliability in demanding conditions. The bottom panel uses even tougher Ultra 400X fabric for maximum durability in high-wear areas.

Designed by the Norwegian-Italian ultralight brand Bonfus and manufactured in their own workshop in Mexico, the Framus reflects a meticulous focus on functional details and uncompromising craftsmanship.

Sizing advice:
To measure your torso length, measure along the curve of your back from the C7 vertebra at the base of the neck down to the top of the hip bones. If you fall between sizes, choosing the larger size is generally recommended, as the load lifters help maintain excellent pack control even with a slightly taller frame.
