The Sun Cruiser is a designed for protection from the sun during hot weather. Its relaxed fit ensures comfort in warm conditions, and the hood prevents sunburn on the neck and cheeks.
We’re excited to offer the Sun Cruiser with the new PowerWool 100 fabric, which has garnered enthusiasm from both us and the FarPointe team. This fabric addresses common issues with sun hoodies, thanks to its odor-resistant merino wool. Unlike many sun hoodies that become uncomfortable in hot weather, PowerWool dries quickly and outperforms standard merino, as the wool’s outer surface is treated with polyester using Polartec’s unique technology. The bi-component construction combines the best of both materials and is ideal for garments like sun hoodies.

The FarPointe PowerWool Sun Cruiser is made from Polartec’s ultra-light PowerWool fabric. It features a merino wool core combined with an advanced synthetic outer layer. This hoodie is perfect for extended sun exposure, keeping you protected from heat and UV rays. Merino wool regulates body temperature and wicks moisture away from the skin. It’s breathable and comfortable in both high and low temperatures and during strenuous activities. Ideal for layering in environments where you transition from warm valleys to cooler elevations with intense sun exposure.
The fit is comfortably relaxed, allowing airflow. Binding around hood and wrist cuffs.
