Pitching tips:
We recommend using long Y-shaped pegs (e.g., MSR Groundhog) for the front and rear guylines to achieve a tight setup, and suitable pegs for the corners based on conditions. Face the tent end into the wind, not the front or back. Start by securing two corners, with pegs 90–120 cm apart and guylines at a 45-degree angle. Leave the corner guylines slightly loose to allow for optimal ventilation and final adjustments. Secure the other corners in the same way.
Place the rear pole (set at 125 cm height) with the handle up and the tip in the loop. Attach the tent so the pole leans slightly outward. Repeat for the front pole, ensuring the ridge is tight and both poles lean at the same angle. Tighten all corner guylines for a firm setup. The tent floor may sag, but you can anchor the corners with extra pegs if desired. The 10D nylon floor is durable, but for extended life, consider using a groundsheet underneath.
In windy conditions: Choose a sheltered campsite in strong winds. Use large rocks on pegs for extra hold if needed. The tent also features two extra attachment points for guylines, which can be used for additional anchors. You can also pitch the windward corners flush to the ground to prevent drafts.
