Nitecore HC33 is the right choice when you need a real lightsaber to cut through northern winter and polar night conditions. We recommend this for Nordic hikes from October to February. The lamp has stunning 1800 lumens, and is good also in real use, not only on paper. HC33 uses 18650 rechargable batteries that have an excellent weight-to-capacity ratio. They are a good choice when you need light for long periods of time. This lamp will stay lit all night long.

Compared to other lamps taking 18650 batteries, the HC33 is relatively light weighing 51 grams without the headband and battery. You get a lot of light for the combined weight. In addition, the rechargable power source is environmentally friendly. We recommend to pair the lamp with cold-tolerant NL1835LTHP battery. This is an excellent combination for winter conditions.

In addition to hikes, HC33 works perfectly in other outdoor activities, biking, EDC and as a work light.

Powerful and tough lamp from Nitecore. HC33 can be removed from the headband, and used as flashlight or table light. It works with a 18650 battery or two CR123 batteries (non-rechargable). HC33 has five power modes, plus a strobe, SOS and beacon special modes. ATR temperature control regulates the lamp temperature, so the battery will last longer in cold as the lamp heats it when switched on. Included a mini diffusor that softens the light when using in close proximity. IP68 rating means the lamp can be temporarily submerged to two meters.

NOTE: The highest power mode requires a battery with >8A output. For cold hikes we recommend the cold tolerant NL1835LTHP battery, and as a spare you can carry a second one or alternatively two lithium CR123 batteries. This way you always use first the rechargable battery, and usually don’t need the disposable CR123 batteries.
