Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Nano Tarp Poncho

Poncho tarp represents one of the core principles of ultralight backpacking: multipurpose gear. The same 230 g poncho can be used as rain gear and as shelter. Excellent emergency shelter for hikes where you will be staying in huts for the night. And minimalists love it just as it is.

The tarp fits over a backpack, so it keeps both the pack and the pack straps dry.

The measurements of this tarp do make it a proper shelter, although we recommend using a splash bivy and practising a bit before heading to remote locations. Also remember to take guylines, which are not included in the product! Attaching guylines with a small carabiner is usually the most convenient way to set up a poncho tarp.
